Why was EZcollegeApps created?

Just this year my daughter applied to college and the process was a painful and tedious one. She wanted to apply to 8 colleges, and while the applications were available for download from the Internet, you then had to print them out and then fill them in by hand or by typewriter (if you had one or could find one to borrow). This process was time consuming and led to many errors that required the whole process to be repeated. You can’t erase mistakes on an application so you have to throw it out and start again. After a few mistakes, multiple rewrites, and terrible writer’s cramp, we decided to have them professionally typed (of course at the 11th hour). The typing service cost over $100 and the application still didn’t look perfect.

How does EZcollegeApps make the process better?

EZcollegeApps has created a collection of the applications of the most applied to universities and colleges in the United States. While this in itself would save you countless hours of surfing the WEB trying to find the school applications we have gone one important step further. EZcollegeApps contains the college’s own unique application and enhanced them so that you can type all the information directly onto the application on your own PC. When you finished typing the information you can print the completed application on your printer!

What products compete with EZcollegeApps?

As of today there isn’t a single product on the market that accomplishes what EZcollegeApps does. There are on-line services that allow you to apply to colleges via the Internet but they never include all the materials you need to submit a complete application package.

Typically, such an application consists of Part 1, Part 2, Teacher Evaluation, Mid-Year School Report, High School Transcripts, Accomplishments, Work History, and 1-2 Essays. The on-line service allows you to submit Part 1 via the Internet but the remainder of the applications must then be obtained by you from the school and then completed by hand. EZcollegeApps provides ALL the forms you need to apply to each college and ALL of them in the enhanced form that allows you to type directly onto them.

Why else would you use EZcollegeApps?

No need to surf the Web looking for the forms you need from multiple schools. You don’t need to be connected to the Internet to use the product and a modem or high speed service is not required. Just click on the folder for the school you want to apply to, open the individual form, and start typing! Once you are done just print out the forms, put them in an envelope and mail all the forms in one package. Using EZcollegeApps there is nothing to get lost, no transmission errors or dropped phone lines in the middle of an application. Applying on the Internet is time consuming if you don’t have a Cable or DSL modem. Also, how comfortable are you sending your personal data including your Social Security number over the Internet?
